Water Quality Archive - Wild Swimming

The Water Quality sampling program is not designed with wild swimmers in mind. Environmental monitoring samples are in the main not taken frequently enough to provide a reliable picture of current conditions.

The only database that explicitly deals with bathing waters is the Bathing Water Quality or the Water Framework Directive (WFD) cycle classifications.
