It is possible to download historic rainfall data through the Hydrology explorer. Navigate to your area of interest and select a rainfall station, this will open a station page.

From the station page you can view daily rainfall and 15 minute rainfall data on a graph and a table with the option to download to CSV.
You can filter the data to view/download in chunks of data. When downloading rainfall data for longer than a 1 year period, please check the CSV file to ensure all data has been downloaded. When rainfall stations have been in operation for a long period of time, they hold a significant amount of data which will take time to download and may not load in its entirety in Excel. If this occurs, please download in smaller chunks.
