How do I use the Flood Plan Explorer (FPE)?
Created: 19 October 2021 Updated: 14 December 2022
There are a variety of ways you can interact with the Flood Plan Explorer (FPE):
You can use the search bar to find a location and measures relevant to that location
You can navigate through the map to find measures
You can search for measures based on the River Basin District, Management Catchment, Flood Risk Area or Strategic Area, or see the measures that apply nationally
All measure information is shown on the individual measure page, with the most important information at the top of the page and additional information (such as any monitoring being undertaken for the measure) under ‘fold out’ headings further down the page; the information under these headings can be viewed by selecting them
Please visit the FRMP pages to read the published plans and to understand the context behind the measures and how they will be implemented: https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/flood-risk-management-plans-2021-to-2027
