Why can’t I see any measures on a map?

In some cases there may be measure listed on a measure scale page but no measures shown on the map, or some measures listed without corresponding shapes on the map. This happens because not every measure has a specific spatial extent associated with it, but instead is only associated with a measure scale. For such measures, assume that the measure applies across the extent of the measure scale, for example across the entire flood risk area. This will be visible on the map on the detailed measure page.
